White Events India

Kalkaji is where we call home, specifically E 156. It’s a busy part of town and there’s always something going on outside the window. White Events India has been operating from this spot for a while, and the neighbors are used to us moving gear in and out at odd hours. Working in events is mostly just about keeping track of a thousand small details. We don't really have fancy offices with glass walls; it’s more about desks piled with notes and maps. Sometimes the coffee machine breaks down and that’s a real tragedy for us on a Monday morning. We try to keep things simple here. If someone needs something done, we see if we can do it and then we get to work. It’s a small operation, so everyone does a bit of everything. One day you’re on the phone all afternoon and the next you might be helping move boxes. That’s just how it goes in a place like Kalkaji. We like being around here because everything we need is close by. It’s a bit noisy with the traffic, but you get used to that after a week or two. We aren't trying to change the world, just trying to make sure the work we do is solid. It's a job like any other, but we enjoy the variety that comes with different projects. It’s about being present and doing the work without expecting everything to be easy all the time.
