Vikram Overseas

You can find Vikram Overseas right across from Udhai Nursing Home in Lajpat Nagar. We are at number 239. It's a busy spot, and sometimes finding parking is a real headache for anyone coming to see us, but we’ve stayed put because it’s a central place. Most of the staff has been around for a long time. We handle different types of goods that go overseas, which means there is always a lot of paperwork and phone calls happening at once. The office isn't anything special to look at, just desks and computers and plenty of files tucked away in corners. We start the day by checking the mail and seeing what needs to move out first. It’s a bit of a routine by now. The nursing home across the street is a good landmark for people who get lost trying to find the right house number. We’ve seen the neighborhood change quite a bit over the years. Some shops have come and gone, but we just keep doing our thing. It’s mostly about coordinating things and making sure the boxes get where they are supposed to go. We don't have a big marketing team or anything like that. It’s just us doing the daily tasks, making sure everything is logged correctly. Sometimes it gets a bit loud when the traffic builds up outside, but we just close the door and keep working. The fan in the back room squeaks sometimes but we’ve grown fond of it.
