V Eng. Works

Our shop, V Eng. Works, is tucked away at 1 Tilak Khand in Giri Nagar. Being in the Kalkaji area means there is always something going on outside. We do a lot of manual work here. It's the kind of place where your hands stay dirty until the end of the shift. We have a few old machines that still run better than the new ones. We spend a lot of time measuring and cutting things. It's not a big company. It's just a few of us making sure the jobs get finished. The building isn't much to look at, just a regular place where we do our engineering tasks. We see a lot of the same faces coming through the door. Usually, it's folks from the neighborhood who need a specific part fixed or made. We don't do much advertising. Most people find us by walking past or hearing about us from someone else in Giri Nagar. We drink a lot of tea while we talk about the next job. Sometimes the power goes out and we just sit and wait for it to come back. You can't do much without the machines. We try to be honest about how long a job will take. If we're busy, we tell you. If we can do it fast, we do. It’s a simple way to live and work. We’ve been at this address for a good while now and we know the street well.
