We are at D-83 on the ground floor in Amar Colony, which is part of Lajpat Nagar 4. If you find the Ragunath Temple street, you’re pretty much there. It’s a good spot because people know the temple so well as a landmark. The clinic itself is fairly small and simple. We have a main area where the doctor sits and a little spot for people to wait their turn. The walls have a few posters about health, but they’ve been up there for a long time and look a bit faded. There’s a window that looks out onto the street, but we usually keep the blinds halfway down so people aren't staring in while they walk by. Lajpat Nagar is always bustling, so there's a lot of background noise from the market and the cars. We see a lot of people from the colony coming in for their regular medicine or just a quick check when they aren't feeling right. I handle the door and the phone, which rings more than you’d think it would. The desk is a bit cramped with all the bottles and pads of paper. We don't have anything fancy like coffee machines or big TV screens in the waiting area. It’s just a basic clinic where we do our jobs. Most days we’re busy from the moment we open the doors until we lock up in the evening. It’s a familiar routine for us now. We just focus on helping whoever walks through that front door.
