We've been at this spot in Khirki Extn for a while now. It's usually pretty crowded because there are always people coming in with something or other. Being right here in Malviya Nagar means we see a lot of the same faces from the neighborhood. It's a bit of a maze getting around R-88 sometimes, but we make it work. Most of us here just focus on getting the paperwork done and making sure patients find the right room without too much trouble. It's not a fancy place where everything is quiet; it’s actually quite loud most mornings. We have doctors coming in and out, and the reception desk always has a pile of files waiting. Sometimes the tea lady comes around and that's the highlight of the afternoon. We don't really do big speeches about what we do. We just open the doors, let people in, and try to keep things moving so nobody is waiting longer than they have to. It can be stressful when the power goes out or when the elevators are acting up, but that’s just how it is in this part of Delhi. We just stay here and do the job because people need us to be open. It’s mostly about managing the lines and making sure everyone gets their turn. Nothing too complicated, just a lot of work every single day. We've got our routines and we stick to them because it keeps things from falling apart during the morning rush.
