The Metal Arts

The workshop at Plot No. 622 stays pretty busy most days. We are right here in Ghitorni, just off Zero Road and not too far from Anand Gram. It is mostly just the sound of metal being cut or welded around here. People come in looking for specific things, and we try to get them done. The space isn't fancy, just a lot of tools and materials lying around where we can find them. We've been at this for a while now. Sometimes the dust gets a bit much, but that is part of working with metal. It is loud, and our hands usually have some dirt on them by lunch. You find us near the main road where all the other shops are. It is a practical kind of place. We don't spend much time on the computer; we're usually out on the floor. If you walk past Anand Gram and turn down Zero Road, you’ll see us. There is always a pile of scrap in the corner waiting to be sorted. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon and makes it pretty warm inside. We just keep the fans going and stay on top of the work. It is a straightforward setup. Nothing is overly organized, but we know where every hammer and drill is kept. We just focus on the pieces we are making today and worry about tomorrow when it gets here.
