Tenda

Our place is over in Okhla Industrial Area, Phase-2, specifically at D-1/2. If you’ve ever been to this part of Delhi, you know it’s a lot of concrete and trucks moving around everywhere. We’ve been here at Tenda for a good while now. The office isn't anything you’d see in a magazine. It’s mostly just shelves full of boxes and some desks that have seen better days. We start our mornings early, usually with a cup of tea from the guy at the corner while we wait for the shutters to go up. It gets pretty hot in the summer, but we have a couple of fans that keep the air moving. We spend a lot of time on the phone or checking what’s come in. People from all over the city come by to pick things up because they know where we are. It’s a bit of a maze back here, but once you find D-1/2, it’s easy enough. We don't have a big team or fancy uniforms. We just wear what’s comfortable for moving boxes around. It’s a noisy neighborhood with all the nearby factories, but we’ve grown used to it. Sometimes the delivery trucks get stuck in the narrow lanes, which can be a bit of a headache. We just take it as it comes. It’s a simple way to run a business, focusing on what’s right in front of us without any big corporate talk.
