Our office is on the first floor over at F-2/9 in Okhla Phase-1. If you know the area, you know it’s mostly factories and warehouses. Telexcell Information Systems Ltd. fits right in there. It’s a very industrial vibe. The stairs up to the first floor are a bit narrow, but once you’re inside, there’s enough room for all of us. We work on information systems, which sounds complicated but mostly involves a lot of computer work and managing data for people. We have a lot of servers humming in the background. It gets pretty warm in the summer, so the fans are always going. Okhla is a tough place to commute to sometimes because of the traffic, but we’ve been here long enough that we know the shortcuts. The tea stall downstairs is where we usually end up during our afternoon breaks. We don’t have a big HR department or anyone like that. We just have a small team that knows their stuff. Most of our days are spent staring at screens or talking about system updates. It’s not a fancy corporate life. We wear casual clothes and just get on with it. The windows look out over other industrial buildings and the street below. It’s a practical place for a practical business. We don't need a fancy lobby to do what we do well. We just focus on the systems.
