Telerex Communications India Pvt. Ltd. is based at D-99 in the Okhla Industrial Area, Phase I. If you’ve ever been to Okhla, you know it’s a place of constant movement. There are trucks everywhere and the sound of machinery is pretty much constant. Our office is right in the middle of all that. We handle a lot of communication equipment, so there are always crates and boxes being moved around the warehouse space. It’s a bit messy, but we know where everything is. The staff here is mostly people who have been with us for a long time. We don't spend much time on fancy decorations or anything like that. We have a small pantry where we make tea, and that’s usually where we discuss the day's tasks. The heat in the industrial area can be quite something in June, but we just get on with it. We deal with various telecom parts and systems, making sure they get to where they need to go. It’s a lot of logistics and checking serial numbers. We don't have a big corporate philosophy. We just want to make sure the boxes are packed right and the clients get their gear. It’s a practical, hardworking environment. You might find a bit of grease or dust on the tables, but that’s just the nature of being in Phase I. We keep things simple and keep the boxes moving out the door.
