Super Fresh Pressery

Working at Plot No. A-216 in Madanpur is always a bit chaotic because we are so close to the Sarita Vihar Metro Station. You can hear the trains going by all day long. At Super Fresh Pressery, we don’t have much time for sitting around. The space is a bit tight with all the equipment we have squeezed in there. We start early, usually before the first commuters even reach the station. The floor is often wet because we are constantly washing things down. It is important to keep the place tidy, even if it’s an old building. We get a lot of delivery drivers coming in and out, looking for their pickups. Sometimes the traffic near the metro station is a nightmare, and the trucks get stuck for an hour just trying to reach our gate. It makes the day feel very long. We just focus on the pressing and making sure everything is handled properly. It’s not a quiet job, that’s for sure. The noise of the machinery and the city outside is constant. We don't have a front desk or anyone to answer phones all day. Most of us are in the back, working with the produce. Madanpur is a busy hub, and being right here in the middle of it keeps us on our toes. We just try to get the orders out and keep the machines from breaking down too often.
