Sunbeam Facilities Pvt Ltd is based out of Badarpur, way down in the southern part of New Delhi. Our address is in the 110044 area, which is right near the border. It’s a heavily industrial and residential mix around here, so there is always a lot of dust and movement. We manage a lot of different maintenance and cleaning crews from this office. It’s mostly just a staging ground for us. We have closets full of supplies and a few desks where we coordinate who is going where for the day. The office isn’t much to look at, just a functional space in a busy neighborhood. We spend a lot of time on our mobile phones trying to track down staff or ordering more cleaning chemicals. Badarpur traffic is notoriously bad, so we usually have to start our shifts very early to get anywhere on time. We don't have a big reception area or a sign that lights up at night. People who need us usually know where to find the door. It’s a bit of a grind, keeping everything running smoothly for other buildings, but we’ve been doing it for years now. We know the shortcuts through the back alleys to avoid the main road jams. It’s a practical business run by people who don’t mind getting their hands dirty and staying until the job is done.
