If you know the area near Defence Colony and Amar Colony, you know how busy Lajpat Nagar 4 gets. Our office, Matrix Hr Solutions Pvt Ltd, is over at D56. It is a lively neighborhood to work in, though it can get pretty hectic when the markets are full. We deal with hiring and manpower mostly. It sounds complicated when people talk about solutions, but for us, it is just about matching people to the right office. We spend a lot of time on the phone and checking emails. The air conditioner in the back room makes a weird clicking noise sometimes, but we have gotten used to it. Our team is small, and we mostly just talk to each other across the desks instead of sending memos. We do not have any corporate slogans on the walls. It is just a plain space where we get the work done. Sometimes a candidate comes in really nervous for an interview, and we try to give them a glass of water and tell them to relax. We have seen a lot of people come and go from this office over the years. It is a bit of a maze getting here if you are not from around this part of Delhi. We like the local food joints nearby, which helps when we have to stay late to finish some paperwork. It is just a normal job for us.
