Studio Seven

You have to climb up to the 3rd floor at 366 Sant Nagar to find Studio Seven. It’s in East of Kailash, which is a pretty crowded area with narrow streets. By the time you get to the top of the stairs, you’re usually a bit winded. The office itself is one of those places that feels lived-in. There are books everywhere and stacks of paper on every flat surface. We have a small balcony where we go to get some air, but it mostly looks out over other rooftops and tangled power lines. The air conditioner in the main room is loud, but it works, which is the important part in the summer. We’ve got a small crew, and we’ve been working together in this same spot for years. The floor tiles are chipped in a few places, and the paint is peeling near the ceiling. It doesn't bother us much because we're focused on what's on our monitors. East of Kailash is great because there is always somewhere nearby to grab a quick bite when we’re working late. We don't really have set hours; we just stay until the job is done. It’s a bit cramped when more than three people are in the room, but we make it work. It’s just an honest, local studio where we spend our days making things and trying to stay organized in the middle of all the creative clutter.
