Our shop is located at number 108 in the Khana Market area of Jor Bagh. We have been in this part of town for quite a while now. We do both the catering and the decorating, which seems to make things easier for the families who hire us. Jor Bagh is a busy place, and there is always a lot of activity right outside our door. We have many regular customers from the neighborhood who have been coming to us for years. They usually have a specific way they like things done, and we know their preferences by heart. We have a collection of older brass serving dishes and various linens that we keep in the back. The guys in our kitchen have been with us for a long time. They do not use written recipes; they just know how to season the food by smell and taste. We mostly stick to traditional dishes that people expect at a local gathering. My nephew takes care of the decorating side of the business. He knows which flowers look good together and where to put the lights so the room looks right. We are not trying to be some massive corporation. We just want to do a decent job for the people who live around here. It is hard work, especially when it gets really hot in the summer, but we are used to it by now.
