Splendour Tours & Travels

Our office is on the first floor over in NDSE Part Two. The address is B-17, right in the middle of all the South Extension action. If you’ve ever been to NDSE, you know it’s a total maze of shops and people. We’ve been tucked away on this floor for quite some time now. The office is usually full of maps and old travel magazines that nobody really reads anymore. We spend most of our time staring at flight schedules and trying to figure out the best way to get people from one place to another. It’s not a glamorous job, despite what people think about travel. There’s a lot of boring paperwork and waiting on hold with airlines. We have a couple of desks and some chairs for people who come in to talk about their trips. Sometimes it gets a bit cramped when more than two people visit at once. We aren't a big chain or anything. It’s just us here, trying to make things work. The market outside is always noisy, so we usually keep the door shut. We’ve lived and worked in this area long enough to know all the shortcuts. We don't use any fancy slogans. We just sit here, take the calls, and book the tours. It’s a straightforward life. We just hope the internet stays up so we can get the tickets printed out on time.
