Soveena

Soveena is a little shop located right in the Green Park Main Market at S 8 A. If you know the market, you know it can get pretty packed, especially in the evenings when everyone is out. We’ve been here for a while, and we’ve seen the shops around us change quite a bit over the years. Our place isn't very large, but we make the most of the floor space we have. We keep things simple here. The shop floor is usually full of items, and we try to keep it organized as best as we can, though it gets messy on busy days. Being in Green Park is nice because it’s a lively neighborhood with a lot of history. Most of our customers are regulars who live nearby and stop in while they’re doing their daily errands. We aren't some big chain store; it’s just us doing our thing every day. Sometimes the rain leaks a little near the front door if the storm is bad enough, but we just put a bucket down and keep going. The lighting inside is a bit old-fashioned, but it gives the place a cozy feel that people seem to like. We don't spend much on advertising because word of mouth usually does the trick for us. It’s a straightforward business. We open up in the morning, tidy the shelves, and wait for the first person to walk through the door. It’s a good way to spend the day in the market.
