Skandia Life is based on the second floor of A-189 in Shivalik. This is over in the Malviya Nagar area of New Delhi. It’s a decent neighborhood with a lot of houses and some offices mixed in. We are up on the second floor, so there are a few flights of stairs to deal with every morning. It’s a good way to wake up, I guess. We work on life-related stuff, mostly just managing things for our clients. The office is pretty standard. We have desks, some filing cabinets that are getting a bit full, and a small area where we can sit and talk. It’s not some high-rise building with a view of the whole city. It’s just a regular building in Shivalik. The traffic in Malviya Nagar can be a nightmare, so we usually get here early to avoid the worst of it. We spend a lot of time on the computer or talking on the phone with people. It’s a steady kind of work. We don't have any big slogans or anything. We just do the paperwork and make sure everything is in order. Sometimes the air conditioner struggles when it’s 45 degrees outside, but we manage. We’ve been in this spot for a while now. Most people find us through the address because our sign isn't very big. It’s a practical, no-nonsense kind of place. We just focus on the tasks at hand and try to finish by evening. That is the way we operate.
