Sir Edward Dunlop Hospital Limited

Being located in the A8 Shopping Arcade at the Surya Hotel in New Delhi makes us a bit unique. Sir Edward Dunlop Hospital Limited isn't your typical standalone building with a big yard. We are tucked inside the arcade in New Friends Colony. It’s an interesting spot because you have the hotel guests and the shoppers all mixing together right outside our doors. The space inside is quite compact because of the arcade layout, so every corner is used for something important. We don’t have vast hallways, but we have rooms that are kept as clean as possible given the foot traffic from the mall. Sometimes it feels a bit strange to be a hospital inside a shopping area, but it’s convenient for people living in the colony. You walk past a clothing shop and then you see us. The lighting is that standard indoor mall light, and we don't have many windows that look outside. We’ve been here for a while and the regular shopkeepers nearby all know us by name. It’s a professional enough environment but it has that slightly cramped, busy feeling of a New Delhi business. We just focus on the daily tasks and try not to get distracted by everything happening in the Surya Hotel next door. It’s just how this specific branch ended up being set up.
