Even though the main name is famous, our specific spot is at K/12-G, Sheikh Sarai-Ii in New Delhi. This part of Indraprastha Apollo Hospital feels a bit more like a local clinic or a specialized office. It’s a quiet building on a street that doesn't get as much traffic as the main hospital grounds. We have people coming in all day with different worries, and we just try to help them out as best as we can. The waiting area has some old magazines and plastic chairs that aren't the most comfortable, but they do the job. It’s not a place filled with high-tech monitors on every wall; it’s more about the doctors and nurses talking to patients. The hallways are narrow and we have to be careful when moving equipment around. We spend a lot of time filing papers and making sure the schedules are right so nobody has to wait too long. The light through the windows in the afternoon is actually quite nice, and it makes the place feel a bit less like a medical facility. We don't do big advertisements or put up posters everywhere. We just open the doors in the morning and see who needs us. Most of the staff has been here for a long time, so we know the local chai wallah and the security guards by name. It’s just a steady, quiet place where we do our part for the community here in Sheikh Sarai.
