Shiv Nath Gupta

My place is over at 505A/5A in Govindpuri. It is a small space, but it serves the purpose. I have been around this neighborhood for quite some time now, so most people know my name. Shiv Nath Gupta is what it says on the sign, though most folks just wave when they walk past the door. The traffic outside can get really loud in the evenings, especially when the rickshaws are all honking at once. I usually start my day early, around eight, and just get to whatever needs doing. Sometimes the paperwork piles up on my desk, and it takes me a few days to clear it out. I don't have a big team or anything; it’s mostly just me and occasionally some help if things get too busy. The walls could probably use a fresh coat of paint, but I never seem to find the time to actually do it. Govindpuri is a busy area, and there is always something happening right outside the entrance. I like it here because everything is close by. If I need a snack or a pen, I just walk two doors down. It is not a corporate setup with meetings and fancy suits. I just sit here, do my work, and talk to whoever comes in with a question. It is a simple life, and I prefer it that way. I've spent years here and the building has become like a second home to me.
