Our office is situated at 207, on the 2nd Floor of the Nuchan Building, which is part of the Alaknand Shopping Complex. It is a bit of a climb if you don't take the lift, but we are used to it by now. Being in a shopping complex means there is always people moving around, though our floor is mostly offices and is a bit quieter. At CCPS, we spend a lot of time looking at specifications and talking about building materials. The office is filled with stacks of documents, brochures about construction products, and various samples of glass or metal that manufacturers have sent over. It is more about the technical side of the industry than the actual building part. We sit through a lot of meetings and spend a good chunk of the day on the phone or sending emails. The Alaknand complex is a well-known landmark, so it makes it easy to tell people where to find us. We don't have a lot of fancy decorations on the walls, mostly just calendars and maybe a few technical charts. It is a practical workspace for people who are interested in how buildings are put together and what materials are safest or best to use. We try to keep things organized, though during a busy week, the desks can disappear under all the paperwork. It is just a regular office doing its part in the big construction world.
