We’ve been operating out of the DDA Kalka Complex in Kalkaji for quite some time now. It’s a busy spot, especially at number 33 where we keep all our supplies and equipment. Most mornings start with the staff checking lists for whatever party or wedding we have that day. It gets pretty loud when the trucks are being loaded with tables and those heavy cooking pots. We handle both the food and the decorations, so there’s always something to do, whether it’s sorting through linens or prepping vegetables. People around here know where to find us if they need a hand with an event. It isn't a fancy office or anything like that. Just a practical workspace where we get things ready. Sometimes the flower shipments come in early and the whole place smells different for a few hours. We just try to get the jobs done right and make sure everything is where it needs to be on time. It can be stressful when traffic is bad in Kalkaji, but we manage. We’ve seen a lot of families come through here over the years asking about different setups. We just stick to what we know, which is cooking and putting up tents and lights. It’s honest work and keeps us busy throughout the wedding season and beyond. We don't really do much advertising, mostly just people stopping by the complex. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we’re usually too busy to get around to it.
