Shankar Decorators & Caterers

Shankar Decorators & Caterers is located in the Kalkaji area, right near Chittaranjan Park. We have been around this neighborhood for a long time. People around here know us for helping out with local functions and small gatherings. We do both the decorating and the food, which keeps us on our feet most of the time. Our storage space is usually full of folded tents, chairs, and large cooking pots. It’s not a very organized sight, but we know where everything is. Chittaranjan Park is a nice place, but the roads can be narrow for our supply trucks. We spend a lot of our mornings checking the vegetables and making sure the staff is ready for the day's event. We don't have a website with fancy photos; most people just see our work at a neighbor’s party and ask for our number. Sometimes the weather ruins a perfectly good outdoor setup, and we have to scramble to fix things. That’s just part of the job. We aren't a huge corporation with a fancy headquarters. We are just a local team that knows how to cook and how to set up a decent stage. It’s a lot of physical labor, carrying heavy stuff and standing over hot stoves. We just keep doing what we know how to do best and hope the client is satisfied with the meal. We’ve lived and worked here long enough to know how things go.
