Stol'N

Stol'N is on the ground floor of 125A Shahpur Jat. We are part of the Commercial Corporation building. Shahpur Jat is a maze of narrow lanes and old buildings turned into shops. It’s a bit of a trek to get here if you aren't familiar with the area. Our space is tucked away, so you have to keep your eyes open. We work on clothes and designs here. The ground floor gets a bit dark, so we have to keep the lights on even during the day. It’s a small team. We often sit together and talk about what needs to be finished by Friday. There are a lot of other businesses around us, mostly designers and small cafes. Sometimes we hear the noise from the street, people arguing about parking or someone selling vegetables. We don't have a receptionist. If someone knocks, one of us just gets up and opens the door. Our desks are usually covered in fabric scraps and half-empty tea cups. We don't try to look like a big corporate office because we aren't one. We just like making things. The walls could use a new coat of paint, but we never seem to get around to it. It’s a practical workspace. We manage our orders and try to stay organized, even if it looks a bit messy to an outsider. This is just our daily routine in Shahpur Jat.
