Seema Singh

I’ve been working from my office at 93 Nehru Place for several years. I’m located on the sixth floor of Ashok Bhavan. If you’ve ever been to Nehru Place, you know it’s a maze of buildings and shops selling all kinds of things. My office is just one small part of that. I don’t have a large company or a big board of directors. It’s just Seema Singh, doing the work that needs to be done. Most of what I do involves handling administrative tasks and coordinating various projects for people who need a bit of extra help. The office is pretty basic. I have a desk, a laptop, and a window that looks out over the rooftops of other buildings. Some days the lift in Ashok Bhavan works perfectly, and other days it’s a long walk up the stairs. It’s just part of being in an older building. I don’t really do any marketing or have a polished sales pitch. Most of my work comes from people I’ve known for a long time or someone they recommended. I like the independence of working for myself. It can be stressful when there’s a lot to do, but I just take it one task at a time. It’s a real, everyday job in a busy part of Delhi. If you need to stop by, it’s best to call first just to make sure I’m not out on an errand.
