Satnam Steels

We are situated on Bhura Rani Road in Chattarpur, right near the railway crossing. You can usually tell when a train is coming because everything in the office starts to rattle a little bit. It’s a busy road, and we get a lot of people passing by on their way to other places. Our yard is filled with steel, and it can get a bit messy during the monsoon when the ground gets soft. We try our best to keep things in order, but when a big delivery arrives, everything gets shuffled around. The staff here are locals who live nearby, so we know the neighborhood well. We don't go in for big advertisements or anything like that. We just focus on the steel and making sure the counts are right. Sometimes the electricity goes out and we have to do things the old-fashioned way, but that’s just part of life here. It’s a straightforward business. We show up in the morning, open the gates, and see what the day brings. Dealing with the public means you meet all sorts of people, and we try to be helpful without being too formal about it. It’s a noisy, metallic kind of environment, but it’s what we know. We’ve been here at the crossing for a while and don't plan on going anywhere else soon. It’s just us, the road, and the steel piles.
