Satish Pan Bhandar

Satish Pan Bhandar is tucked away in the Sona Bazar area near Ajmeri Gate. Specifically, we are at 2114/7, Chah Indara. It’s an old part of the city with very narrow lanes and a lot of history. We’ve been sitting at this spot for years. The shop is small, just enough for one or two people to stand behind the counter. Everything we need is within arm's reach. Sona Bazar is a busy place with people moving goods back and forth all day. We see the same faces every morning and evening. It’s not a place for tourists or anything like that. It’s for the local people who live and work around Ajmeri Gate. We don't have any big signs or bright lights. Just the basic stuff. We prepare things as people ask for them. There’s no rush here, even though the street outside is always moving. Sometimes it gets a bit dusty because of the old buildings nearby. We just wipe down the counter and keep going. We don’t use any computers or modern gadgets. Just a simple ledger and our hands. It’s a traditional way of doing things. People know us at Chah Indara. We don’t need to tell anyone our mission or anything. We just open the shutters, do our work, and talk to the neighbors. It’s a quiet life in a loud city. We are here from morning until the night falls. It is just how it has been for us.
