Samby Opticals

We are located in the Alaknanda area. It is a decent spot for an optical shop because people are always walking around the market. The shop isn't very big, but we managed to fit a lot of frames on the walls. We have the cheap plastic ones and some metal ones too. There is a small desk where we sit and talk to customers about their eyesight. The eye testing machine is tucked away in the back. It makes a little whirring sound when it turns on. We spend a lot of time cleaning the glass cases because fingerprints get on them all day. People often come in because they sat on their glasses or the hinge broke. We have a drawer full of tiny screws and nose pads for those quick fixes. The light inside is quite bright so people can see how they look in the mirror. Sometimes we have to tell people that a certain frame doesn't really fit their face shape. It is just honest talk. We write down the orders on small slips of paper and put them in a pile. Most people around here know us by name now. The floor is tiled and we sweep it every morning before opening the door. It is just a regular shop where we help people see a bit better than they did before. There is a mirror in every corner so people can check their reflection easily.
