Saket City Hospital

Being on Press Enclave Road means there is always something going on just outside our doors. This branch of Saket City Hospital is tucked right near Mandir Marg. We spend a lot of our time just managing the flow of people coming through the entrance. It's a functional space. We don't have those fancy fountains or art galleries some of the newer places have nowadays. Here, it is mostly about the beds, the medicine, and the doctors. Most of us who live nearby know the shortcuts through the side streets to avoid the main road traffic during rush hour. Working in a hospital like this means you see a bit of everything every single day. We have our set routines. Shift changes happen at the same time every day, and that's when it gets really loud in the hallways. Some of our equipment has been around for a bit, but it does exactly what it needs to do for the patients. We don't spend much money on advertising. Most people find us because they live in Saket or were sent here by someone they know in the neighborhood. It's a lot of practical stuff like checking vitals, filling out charts, and making sure the rooms are ready for the next person who needs them. Sometimes the elevators are a bit slow, and you just have to stand there and wait. That's just life in a busy medical building. We're just here to keep the place running day and night. It’s a 24-hour job and the lights in the lobby never really go out.
