Sahni Iron Store

If you head down to Lal Kuan and look for the old police booth, you will find Sahni Iron Store at number 1772. This part of the city is old and the streets are narrow, so it can be a bit of a squeeze getting things in and out. We have been handling iron and metal here for quite some time. The shop is full of heavy stacks and pieces of iron everywhere you look. It is a dusty environment, and your hands get dirty within five minutes of starting the day. We don't have any fancy office or a waiting area with air conditioning. It is just a functional space where we keep our stock and talk to customers who need supplies. Being at 1772 means we see a lot of the local life passing by the old police booth every day. It is a very grounded kind of business. We don't use big words or try to act like we are bigger than we are. We are just a local iron store trying to manage the inventory and help out the people who come in. The sun hits the front of the shop in the afternoon, making it quite hot, but we just keep at it. It’s a simple life of lifting, measuring, and moving metal from one side of the room to the other until it’s time to lock up and head home for dinner. Tomorrow will probably be exactly the same and we are fine with that.
