We are over here at Ekta Vihar in Badarpur, and the office is usually pretty busy with people coming in to talk about work. Saharaoverseas Manpower Consultant started because there is always someone looking for a better job and companies needing reliable hands. It is not a huge fancy place, just a regular spot where we keep files and talk to candidates. Dealing with overseas stuff means a lot of paperwork and making sure passports and details are right, which takes time. Sometimes the phone rings all day, other times it is just us sorting through resumes. We have seen all sorts of people walk through the door, from young guys looking for their first start to older workers with years of experience. The area around here is a bit crowded, but we like it that way. We try to keep things straightforward. If a job is available, we tell you. If not, we see what else might fit later. It isn't always easy getting everything lined up with the companies we work with, but we stay on top of it. Some days are long, especially when deadlines for visa submissions are close. We drink a lot of tea and just keep moving through the list of tasks. Being in Assam, we get folks from all over the local parts coming in to see if we can help them find a path. It is practical work and we just do it day by day.
