Runway Fashion- Women Custom Tailored Clothing Studio

We run Runway Fashion- Women Custom Tailored Clothing Studio out of a space in Maharani Bagh, specifically at I-9. It’s a bit different from the crowded markets because it’s a studio where we actually make things to order. We spend most of our time measuring, cutting fabric, and sitting at the sewing machines. It is a lot of hands-on work. We started this because we liked the idea of making clothes that actually fit people right. The studio isn’t huge, but it has enough room for our tables and the rolls of cloth we keep on hand. We get a mix of people coming in, some with very specific ideas and others who just want something simple. We don't use any high-tech machines, just the standard ones that get the job done. It gets messy with threads and scraps of fabric all over the floor by the end of the day. We try to keep it tidy, but when we are busy, that's the last thing on our minds. Living and working in Maharani Bagh is nice because it’s a bit quieter than the main commercial hubs. We focus on the tailoring side of things mostly. It’s a quiet life of stitching and fitting. We aren't trying to be some big brand; we just want to make decent clothes for the women who visit our little studio.
