Our office is found at E-28-A-11 in Jia Sarai, which is a busy little pocket of South Delhi near the big universities. It’s a place where there are always students running around and small shops everywhere you look. We deal with food and beverages from this small office space. It’s tucked away in one of the lanes, so you have to look closely for the number. The office itself is quite plain, just a few desks, some computers, and a lot of paper. We spend most of our time coordinating with suppliers and making sure our food products are being moved to the right places. It gets very crowded in Jia Sarai, especially during the middle of the day, so getting things delivered can be a bit of a challenge sometimes. We are a small team and we don't have any corporate hierarchy. If the phone rings, whoever is closest picks it up. We’ve had to deal with the usual Delhi problems like power cuts or the internet going down, but we just manage and keep things moving. We aren't trying to change the world; we just want to make sure our business runs smoothly and our customers are satisfied with the products they get from us. There’s usually a pile of snacks on the corner table for anyone who gets hungry during the long afternoon stretch. We just take it one day at a time here, doing the work that needs to be done.
