Our place is on the second floor of 211 in the Okhla Ind. Estate Phase-3. It’s a pretty busy part of town and finding a parking spot in the morning can be a real headache. Rostfrei Steels Pvt Ltxd is where we handle a lot of the steel business. Most days the office is filled with the sound of the nearby workshops and the heavy trucks moving through the lanes. We deal with steel for various projects, mostly focusing on storage and industrial use. The air in Okhla always has that metallic smell to it, which you get used to after a week or two. We have a lot of paperwork on our desks and samples of steel sheets stacked up in the corner. It is not a very quiet office, but we get the work done. The staff here mostly stays inside because the heat outside in Delhi can be quite something during the summer months. We take our tea breaks together and usually talk about the logistics of getting the steel delivered on time. Sometimes the elevators in the building are slow, so we end up taking the stairs to the second floor. It keeps us moving. We have been in this spot for a while and most of the neighbors know us by now. We just focus on the orders and making sure the steel goes out to the right places for the projects we have on hand.
