You can find Rmp Apparels Private Limited on the first floor of Lal kiran Bhawan. We’re right at Mithapur Chowk, which is a very busy junction on Mithapur Road in the Badarpur area of South Delhi. The traffic outside is almost constant, with horns honking and people rushing to catch buses. Inside our space, it’s all about the garments. We have rows of clothes waiting to be processed and packed. The building itself is quite well-known in the local area, so people don’t usually have trouble finding us once they reach the chowk. We aren’t a big, polished company with a lobby. It’s just a work floor where we get our hands dirty. There’s a lot of dust from the road that finds its way in, so we’re constantly cleaning the surfaces. Our team is small and we’ve all been working together for a while. We know who is good at what. Some days are stressful when the deadlines are tight, but we usually manage to have a laugh over lunch. We don’t use fancy language to describe what we do. We just make and handle clothes. The walls are lined with boxes and there’s a big calendar where we mark everything down. It’s a practical, no-nonsense environment. Being in Mithapur gives us a sense of being right in the middle of where things happen in South Delhi. It's a loud place, but we like it.
