Riwayaat Couture (Opc) Private Limited

Our shop is tucked away at 261/12 on the first floor in Amritpuri B, over in the Garhi Jhariamaria area. It’s a lively part of South Delhi where there’s always something happening on the street below. Riwayaat Couture (Opc) Private Limited is where we handle a lot of the more detailed clothing work. Being on the first floor gives us a little bit of a view, though it’s mostly just the rooftops and the overhead wires. We have a few sewing stations set up and a large table where we cut the fabric. The light in the morning is actually pretty good for seeing the fine stitches. We aren’t a massive factory, just a small group of people who enjoy working with textiles. Sometimes it gets a bit noisy with the traffic from the main road, but once we get into the flow of the work, we don’t really notice it much. We have shelves lining the walls filled with different types of cloth and thread. It’s a bit of a squeeze when we have a lot of orders to finish at once, but we make it work. The neighborhood is very old-school, and we like that vibe. There’s a certain rhythm to the day here, from the first cup of chai to the time we lock up in the evening. We don't use any fancy management software, just notebooks and our memory. It's a humble way to run a small business.
