Our branch is located right in the Ashram area of New Delhi. It’s a busy spot, and there is always a lot of movement around here. People come in looking for all sorts of things for their homes or just daily supplies. We spend a lot of our time making sure the shelves are stocked and things are where they should be, though sometimes it gets a bit disorganized when it’s a holiday or a weekend. The staff here has been around for a bit, so we know the regular customers who live in the surrounding colony. It’s not a quiet place, especially with the heavy traffic outside on the main road, but we’ve gotten used to the noise over the years. We try to keep the floors clean and make sure the billing goes fast, even when the lines get long in the evenings. Most days are just about managing the stock and helping people find what they need in the aisles. We don’t have a big corporate feel inside the store; it’s more about the people who work here every day. Sometimes the air conditioning acts up or we run out of a specific item people want, but we do what we can to fix it quickly. It’s a practical shop meant for the local people in the 110014 area. We open early and stay open until fairly late. It is just a normal part of the neighborhood where folks stop by on their way home to pick up milk or snacks. It’s a lot of work but it feels good to be a familiar spot.
