We are over at Nehru Place, specifically Madhuban 101/55. It's a busy spot here. People come in with their gadgets all the time. Sometimes the fans are loud, or the street noise gets in. It's just a regular service shop. We’ve been here a while. You see a lot of broken things daily. Mostly we just sit at the benches and try to figure out what's wrong with the boards. It gets dusty because of the construction nearby. The light inside isn't the brightest, but we manage. If you look for the building number 101/55, you'll find us easily enough. We don't have fancy coffee machines or a big lobby. It’s just chairs for people to wait and the sound of tools. Sometimes the delivery guy gets lost looking for Madhuban, but most locals know the way. It’s a practical place. We keep the spare parts in the back room on old wooden shelves. It’s not a showroom, just a place where things get worked on. Sometimes we have a backlog, especially after a heatwave when everything breaks at once. We just go through the tickets one by one. It's honest work. Nothing special about the walls, just some old posters and the desk where we sign the forms. I usually start the morning by unlocking the heavy shutters. The air in Nehru Place smells like chai and exhaust early on. My desk is covered in screwdrivers and small screws. We don't use fancy software, just a logbook and a pen. People come in frustrated, and we try to see what we can do.
