Saab Exports

Our office is at 845/28 D.D.A.Flats in Kalkaji, New Delhi. It's a residential area turned into a bit of a hub for small businesses, so there's always something going on in the lane. Saab Exports has been tucked away here for quite some time. It’s a small space, filled with samples and boxes and a lot of paper. Working out of a DDA flat means you have to be smart about how you use the rooms, so we have desks where there used to be a living area. Most days are spent talking to people about shipping and making sure the labels are right. It gets a bit hectic when a big shipment is going out, and the hallway gets crowded with bags. We don't have a big fancy lobby or a receptionist in a suit. Usually, whoever is closest to the door just opens it. The tea stalls nearby are where we get our morning boost. Dealing with exports from Delhi means long hours sometimes, especially with the time differences, but we just get on with it. It’s a bit messy at times with all the packages, but it shows we’re busy. People know us in this part of Kalkaji. It’s an honest way to spend the day, just managing the flow of goods and making sure everything is where it needs to be. The neighbors are used to us by now and they don't mind the occasional noise of moving boxes.
