Regency Clinic

You can find us on the main road in Chattarpur, very close to Nanda Hospital. It is a busy stretch of road, so there is always a lot of dust and noise from the passing cars and rickshaws. The clinic itself is a modest place where we handle the day-to-day health issues of people living nearby. We aren’t trying to be a giant medical center; we just have a few rooms and a small waiting area. The chairs in the lobby are a bit mismatched, and the magazines on the table are usually a few months old, but that doesn’t really matter for what we do. The staff is small, usually just a couple of us working the shifts and helping the doctor. We spend our time talking to neighbors and keeping records of who needs what. It is a simple operation where we know many of our patients by their first names because they live just a few blocks away. The walls are painted a light color that has faded a bit over time, and the floor is easy to mop. We don’t have any big slogans or fancy promises. We just open the doors in the morning, see who needs help, and go home when the work is finished. It is a regular neighborhood clinic that sits right in the middle of the Chattarpur hustle and bustle.
