Our small office for Rdm Engineering Pvt Ltd is tucked away in the Global Apartment building which is number 2682 29 in the Tuglakabad Extension area of New Delhi. It is a very busy part of the city and the streets outside are always full of cars and people moving around. Being in 110019 means we are right in the middle of all the noise and energy of Delhi. We spend most of our time at our desks looking at engineering plans or handling paperwork for different projects. The apartment isn't very big so we have to be organized with all our tools and blueprints. Sometimes it gets quite hot in the summer months but we have a small cooler that keeps the air moving. We aren't a big company with a lobby or a receptionist. Usually you just walk in and see us working at the tables. We have a lot of visitors coming in to talk about technical details or to drop off supplies. The walls are covered with calendars and some old sketches from past jobs. We take our lunch breaks at different times depending on how busy the morning was. There is a lot of walking up and down the stairs because the elevator is often slow. It is a gritty and honest way to work in this part of town. We just focus on the engineering tasks at hand and try to stay on top of the daily pile of work.
