Our shop is located at 89 Mehar Chand Market, right near the New Wellington Camp. It’s a lively spot to be in. Every morning, the market wakes up with the sound of shutters opening and delivery trucks backing in. We’ve got a lot of history in this little space. The back room is constantly filled with the smell of whatever the kitchen staff is prepping for a weekend job. We do both catering and decoration, which means we are always juggling two very different types of work. One minute we’re talking about the right amount of salt in a gravy, and the next we’re worried about the shade of blue for some drapes. Our team is a mix of older guys who have been with us for decades and some younger ones who are still learning the ropes. We don't use any high-tech systems for our bookings; it’s mostly just a large ledger and a lot of memory. If you walk in, you might have to wait a minute while we finish a phone call or load a crate of plates. It’s a real working environment, not a polished showroom. We’ve had to deal with all sorts of mishaps over the years, from sudden rainstorms to power cuts in the middle of a party. You just learn to fix things and move on. That’s how we’ve always handled things here in the market.
