Our place is located in the D-57 block of the DDA Flats in Jasola, New Delhi. It's a typical government-built residential complex, which makes for a bit of a unique workspace. We have used the rooms to set up our workstations and storage. It’s not a sleek office building with a lobby or a security guard at a front desk. Instead, you just walk up to the flat like you’re visiting a neighbor. We have a lot of fabric samples and half-finished garments lying around on the tables. It gets a bit crowded when we have a full team in, but we managed to make it cozy. The Jasola area is quite convenient for us since it's connected to the rest of Delhi pretty well. We often have people coming in and out for deliveries, so the doorbell rings quite a bit. We don't have any polished mission statements on the walls. Mostly, we just have calendars and lists of things that need to be finished by Friday. The light in the afternoon is quite good through the windows, which helps when we are looking at colors. We keep our operations simple and practical because that’s what works in a space like this. It’s just a group of people working hard in a flat to make sure things get done. No corporate fluff, just the reality of running a small business in Delhi.
