Pulse Foods

We started Pulse Foods over at Sarvodaya Enclave. It's been a few years now. We mostly handle different types of pulses and daily food items. It gets busy during the mornings. The office is at 74-A. We don't have a big fancy lobby. Just a desk and some samples. We spend most of our day talking to suppliers and checking the quality of the dal coming in. Sometimes the traffic outside makes it hard for the trucks to get in. People around here know us as the place that just gets the job done. We aren't trying to be the biggest company in India or anything. Just want to keep the shelves stocked with decent food. My cousin helps out with the accounts when he has time. It’s mostly just us. We deal with bulk orders and small shops. Sometimes we run out of space in the storage room. It’s a bit cramped in Sarvodaya Enclave but it’s home. We’ve had the same phone number since we opened. If you walk past 74-A, you’ll probably see us unloading sacks. It’s dusty work but someone has to do it. We try to stay organized but things get messy when a big shipment arrives unexpectedly. That’s just how it goes in this business. We drink a lot of tea while we wait for deliveries. It’s a simple setup we’ve got going here. We don't use computers for everything, still have a few paper logs. It works for us.
