Progressive Event Management

We’re located at A-122 on the first floor in Raju Park, which is in the Khanpur area near Madan Gir. Running Progressive Event Management keeps us on our feet quite a bit. The office is usually a bit of a mess with floor plans, checklists, and samples of decorations lying around. Khanpur is a really packed part of the city, so there is always noise from the street coming through the windows. We spend a lot of time on our mobile phones, coordinating with vendors and making sure trucks are going where they are supposed to go. Event work is mostly about solving problems before anyone notices them. It’s not all parties and decorations; it’s mostly logistics and making sure the generators have enough fuel. Our first-floor office is where the planning happens before we head out to various sites across Delhi. We have a few desks shoved together and a whiteboard that is usually covered in scribbles that only we understand. It’s a fast-paced environment, and sometimes we’re working late into the night to get everything ready for the next day. We’ve been in Raju Park for a while, and it’s a good base for us. We just focus on getting the details right and making sure the events actually happen the way they are supposed to without any major disasters. It is tiring but we are used to the long hours by now.
