If you find yourself in South Extension 2, you might see our place on the second floor over at Masjid Moth. Number 267 is where we have been set up for quite a while now. The climb up the stairs isn't too bad, but you definitely feel it by the time you reach the door. Inside, Privy Consulting is really just a bunch of desks and a lot of filing cabinets that have seen better days. It is a working office, so don't expect a big lobby with flowers or fancy art on the walls. Mostly, we just have stacks of paper and the constant sound of someone typing or talking on a landline. The fans overhead keep the air moving, which is necessary when the Delhi heat starts to pick up in the afternoon. We usually get in around ten and stay until the work for the day is finished. The neighborhood is always noisy, with cars and people moving around outside, but we’ve gotten used to it. Sometimes the tea guy from downstairs brings us a round of chai, and that is usually the highlight of our morning. We aren't trying to impress anyone with the decor. Our focus is just on the files and the people who walk through that door needing help with their consulting needs. It’s a simple, honest way to spend the day, and we are quite comfortable here in this little corner of the city.
