Abid Husain Consultants is situated in Zakir Nagar, right in the Okhla Village area. We are on the second floor of building R 21. If you walk down Street No 9, you will see the entrance. It is a typical local office space with stairs that can be a bit steep if you aren't used to them. The area outside is always full of life, with food stalls and people walking everywhere. Our office has a few rooms where we sit and talk to people who need advice or help with their papers. It’s not a shiny corporate office with glass walls. It’s more of a lived-in space with old desks and a lot of books and files. We keep the windows open sometimes to let the air in, even if it gets a bit noisy from the street below. Most of the time it is just the sound of the fans and someone typing or talking on the phone. We have been in New Delhi 110025 for a long time now. People come in and sit on the plastic chairs while we go through their documents. It’s a simple way of working. We don't have a big reception desk or anything. You just walk in and someone will be there to help you out. It’s just how things are done here in Zakir Nagar. We stay pretty busy from morning until we close up for the night.
