Prem Domestic & Allied Industries Pvt. Ltd. is located over at B-119 in Amar Colony. If you know Lajpat Nagar-Iv, you know it’s a packed area. We’ve been part of this community for a long time. Our building isn't anything special to look at from the outside. Just a regular brick place where we do our business. Inside, it’s a bit cramped because we have so much going on. We handle a lot of different domestic goods and things like that. It’s a lot of paperwork and talking to suppliers. Sometimes the delivery vans have a hard time parking on the narrow streets. We just have to manage. The staff here is like a small family. We’ve seen kids grow up and people retire. It’s not a cold corporate environment. We drink a lot of chai and talk about the news while we work. The name on the door says something long, but we just think of it as our shop. We don't spend money on fancy decorations. We’d rather just keep the lights on and keep moving. It’s a busy life in a busy part of Delhi. We try to keep things moving as best as we can. Every day brings something new, but we stay grounded here in Amar Colony. It is just where we happen to be based.
