Our office is on the second floor of building 630-B, right on Street Number 6 in Govindpuri. It is a busy part of Kalkaji here in New Delhi, and there is always something happening outside on the street. We have been here in this spot for a while, helping people figure out their next job steps and looking at resumes. The stairs up to the second floor are a bit narrow and steep, but once you get inside, it is a comfortable enough space to work. We have a few desks where we sit and talk to people about where they want to work and what kind of skills they actually have. It is mostly just a lot of talking on the phone and looking through stacks of papers every day. The neighborhood is full of small shops and other businesses, so it gets pretty loud during the day with all the motorbikes and people walking by. We usually grab lunch from one of the local food stalls nearby since the food is good and cheap. It is not a fancy consulting firm with glass walls and expensive rugs; it is more of a practical place where we just get down to business. We try to keep things simple and honest with everyone who walks through the door to see us. Being in Govindpuri means we see a lot of different people every single day. It is a very grounded way to work, and we appreciate the community vibe of the street.
