Our place is at E 17 in Sarita Vihar, over in New Delhi. It’s a pretty well-known part of the city. We work with water systems, which is something everyone needs but nobody really thinks about until it stops working. The office is a bit of a mix of a showroom and a workspace. We have different parts and filters lying around on the shelves. It’s not a perfectly organized place, as we are always moving things in and out. Being in Sarita Vihar, we get a lot of people from the nearby areas coming in to ask questions about their water setups. We’ve got a few desks and a couple of chairs for visitors. It’s a bit cramped when more than three people are in the front room. We spend a lot of time on the phone or out visiting sites to see what’s going on with the pipes and tanks. The Delhi heat can be tough, so we’re always glad to be back in the office for a bit. We don't have any flashy advertisements on the walls, just some technical diagrams and a calendar. It’s a small group of us here, and we’ve been working together for years. We just take each job as it comes and try to figure out the best way to fix things. It’s practical work, and we don't try to make it sound more complicated than it is.
